J.B. Harris was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York to a single mother with very little support and input from her father who was married at the time she was conceived. This made for a very difficult situation growing up, contributing to her issues in dealing with men which has provided inspiration and content for her book series.
She graduated from Delaware State University, Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Banking and a concentration in Management. She’s also completed a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri. She is currently a Doctoral candidate at Liberty University, pursuing a D.B.A.
She has worked in the financial services sector for over twenty years and has also served as a civilian employee for the Department of Navy.
A mother of four girls, she is a military wife who has grown to become spiritually grounded, appreciative of life, with a maturity and spoken truth that some love and others love to hate.
If you are easily offended, this book may not be a good read for you. J.B. brings an honest, transparent, but blunt writing style. She writes with total genuineness as she believes she is laying the foundation for candid discussions that don’t tolerate excuses and hopefully paves the way for more literature that offers guidance to men.
I embarked on this journey in writing books and sharing relationship advice after watching many women in my life struggle in their relationships. This book was started over ten years ago in hopes that I would share my experiences and advice to men to help them fill the void that is needed in unsuccessful relationships. I hope that others will help me continue the dialogue needed to answer our questions as we share and exchange information.
